Online Appointment Requests from 1st October 2025
You may have heard that from 1st October 2025, the Government has said that all GP surgeries must offer unlimited routine online requests for patients from 8am-6.30pm.
We have carefully discussed this, both within our practice and with other local GP surgeries and at present we feel that bringing in this change without extra resources would be unsafe for patients, unsustainable for the practice and would potentially lead to a worsening of the quality of care we offer.
At present, we believe the best way to run our practice and maintain the personal standard of care our patients value, is to continue using telephone access as the main way to contact us. At the same time, we are gradually expanding our online services. To begin with, we are offering a limited number of online submissions each day for routine matters, particularly when a patient does not need to see or speak directly with a GP.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
‼️⚠️PRACTICE CAR PARK⚠️‼️
Due to scheduled internal building work at the practice, our car park will be unavailable for several weeks. Only one disabled parking bay will be accessible for patients during this time. If you are able to park either in the car park opposite or further down the road, we kindly ask that you do so to help keep the disabled bay free for those who need it most.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

Practice Leaflet - Updated May 2025
MASK WEARING IN THE PRACTICE
The practice has reviewed the guidance on the wearing of face masks in the surgery. The decision has been made to cease routinely wearing masks, unless you have respiratory symptoms, or you have been asked to wear one by a clinician.
If anyone feels they would prefer to continue to wear masks this will be supported. Equally, if you would prefer a clinician to be masked during a consultation, please let the clinician know.
This guidance is subject to change.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
