GP Registrar

We are an approved training practice. Our GPs supervise fully qualified doctors who have decided to specialise as a GP. GP Registrars are a very welcome part of our medical team and we value their contribution to the practice. Being a training practice means we have met the required standards to provide training for the future doctors of General Practice. The GP Registrar is fully qualified and is able to make diagnoses and offer treatment as any GP is able to. At the end of each surgery one of the experienced GP's goes through any difficulties the GP registrar may have had, to help with their training. Sometimes the GP registrar will ask one of the experienced GP's to come and see the patient as well, if they are unsure about something.
