The PPG carried out work on a variety of projects producing a number of leaflets and information posters to help and inform patients on various issues and topics related to their health and wellbeing.  

• Ordering Prescriptions efficiently and easily

To show patients the different ways they can order their prescriptions 

• Strokes

A leaflet was produced giving guidance on strokes and accessing help during recovery from a stroke. 

• Mental Health and Wellbeing

Information and support for patients about various mental health illnesses which can affect patients of all ages. Leaflet : How Are You Feeling Today? 

• Women’s Hearts Matter

A leaflet was produced which explained the key symptoms of a heart attack in women that can be quite different to those experienced by men which often leads to misdiagnosis. 

• Eye Health

The importance of having regular eye checks and information about eye conditions which may affect the older patient – Glaucoma, Cataracts, Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Eye conditions related to Diabetes. 

• Menopause

A short guide to symptoms of the menopause and the support you can obtain.
